The Lightning Thief (2024)
Sound Engineer (A1)/Designer
University of North Carolina at Greensboro (Sprinkle Theater)
My primary job for this production was developing a good mix for the space, with 20 actors and a live 4 piece band. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, I was also put in charge of the sound department, giving instructions and outlines to my A2, Cadence Amaral, who was then in charge of 3 mic technicians. I also developed a QLab file for the show, with the assistance of Cadence.

Night of the Living Dead (2023)
Sound Designer
University of North Carolina at Greensboro (Sprinkle Theater)
It was part of the director’s vision that he wanted the show to feel like a haunted house. While this does mean a few jump scares, I focused on the background ambience to help the audience feel the terror and dread that the characters are feeling.

Winnie-the-Pooh (2023)
Sound Designer
University of North Carolina at Greensboro (Sprinkle Theater)
It was part of the director’s vision that she wanted everything to feel as natural as possible. This causes the majority of sound effects to be done practically, with examples such as a cabasa, owl whistle, and a slide whistle. While a small QLab file was made, the majority of the work was done in researching nature sounds and how to replicate them on stage.
